What you’ll help us achieve
Along with access to our vibrant Discord community, you’ll get the warm, fuzzy feeling of helping a social enterprise build even more amazing events for 2025! We’re hoping to raise $2,000 through these memberships, paying for the time to plan a full roster of 2025 events + a graphic designer to help us build better marketing campaigns for the future.
Some of the things we want to do next year include:
Storycrafting Sessions: Publishing – A free, virtual one-day conference where we’ll be talking all about how to publish your work, including panels about both traditional and indie publishing.
Writing Roundtables – We have three Writing Roundtable topics picked out for next year, including Staying Power: Finishing Books With ADHD and Building Community as a Neurodivergent Writer.
Writing workshops – We’ve spent the past year building Zoom-based workshops on Manuscript Self-Evaluation and Letters To Those We’ve Lost: Writing Through Grief. We plan to launch both of these workshops in 2025.
More themed #WeeknightWriters chats – Chats around topics like learning to edit your own work, finding beta readers, and figuring out your publishing path.
And of course, #FirstDraftFall version two – an even bigger and better version of the event you participated in this year! We’ve already got a bunch of ideas for how to improve it, including expanded worksheets and pep talks from our members.
But none of this is possible without your help. As much as we’d love to be able to do this for free, we live in capitalism and we have bills to pay and mouths to feed.
